Whimsies and Freebies!

Hello Friends!

I'm still here!  I didn't really mean to disappear.
I'm just slowly getting back into the swing of things...
a little thrifting and a little creating.

I don't have photos of my thrifty finds yet,
but I do have pics of my newest creations.
Now, you may or may not know that I sell collage sheets on Etsy.
See my little shop over there on the right? :)
So I designed a few new collage sheets,
and then I started playing with them,
and then these little cuties came to life!

 So I thought, hmmm..
I haven't sold any crafty things on Etsy or Ebay for ages,
maybe I'll just give it a try!
I'll be adding some new ones later in the week, if you'd like to take a peek :)

I just love vintage valentines, especially the whimsical ones from the 20s and 30s.

I also like the corny phrases on them as well :D

I think this is adorable:

I love these traditional romantic valentines as well:

Click to enlarge, right click and save!
Then go make some hand made valentines!! :)

Lots of links to lovely pinks at Pink Saturday.

Lovely things at Pearls and Lace Thursday.

♥♥♥Thank you so much for visiting and for all your lovely comments!! ♥♥♥
Have a great week!

*aRt*pArTy*!!

This post is a bit overdue.
Our art party meeting this month had a "Royal Wedding" theme:
the swap was an embellished bridal shower favor box:

(all of them)

(the one I made)

the food was tea party tidbits:

and the make and take was altered crowns. Sorry no pic :(

It was so much fun...
kind of made up for being left off the royal wedding guest list :P

Chateau de Fleurs Vintage Market!

My friend Marti and I spent a wonderful day in Fallbrook, CA
visiting the Chateau de Fleurs Vintage Market!
It was a beautiful day to begin with,
blue skies and temps in the 70s,
and even more beautiful things awaited us at the market.

It is a quarterly affair, and we have been wanting to go for ages.
Finally the timing was right, the stars were aligned,
and we were transported into a vintage world of girly deliciousness!

I want to crawl into this bed,
and read my favorite Jane novel.

Time stood still in this vintage world...

But eventually (hours later, really),
it was time to put on our dancing shoes...

and move on...to the real world. Sigh...

Hatitude

Our monthly ATC/ETC club met this week, and the theme for this month was HATs! We decided to make a tea party of it and decorate our own hats, and what fun!! I don't know if there was something in the tea, but everybody got their creativity on! Here's some pix of our lovely "tea tasties":

Here's a picture of everyone in their hats:

I'm peeping out from the back row. : )

And here are some close-ups of my hat:

Constructed from 2 sheets of scrapbook paper, a paper plate, and LOTS of EMBELLISHMENTS! ; )

I think it would be fitting if today's freebie was of a hat nature, so here ya go:

Have a great weekend!!
