Anthropologie NYC

And what's a trip to NYC without a visit to Anthropologie?
I just love their ever-changing window decorations and in-store decor. This year's theme seemed to be an icy/frosty one... Fairly minimal for Anthro... Love this outfit, though... Ah, this is more like it... And inside the store,
paper discs edged with glitter,
stacked and hung from the ceiling... I probably won't be trying this at home, though ;)

Further down the block I spied this cute little coat made from "newsprint":

And this fabulous shoe wreath!!

I probably won't be trying that at home either! LOL

Here's a couple of wintery white freebies for you:
Click to enlarge, right click and save!

Is it winter white where you are?
It's 80 degrees here...

Visit White Wednesday for more winter whites! And Pink Saturday for lovely pinks!

I haven't been to NYC in over 7 years and your post has convinced me I need to soon! My friend periodically teaches at Tinsel Trading Co. She has a blog called Memory Bee. She's taught in Paris, S. Africa, and lots in the US. I'm your newest follower and I hope you can pop over to Cottage and Creek and follow back. Happy New Year!

I just love Anthropologie. I think sometimes I love the displays even more than the merchandise. They are so very clever to make something ordinary beautiful.

Looks like you hit two of my favorite spots in NYC Anthro and Tinsel Trading. Love to go there when I visit my blogging partner daughter. I'm a new follower, hope you will stop by and follow us. I posted about vintage postcard too, we both seem to like them. Laura - Cottage and Broome

PS. We had a blizzard this weekend and 2 degrees!

Lorraine, Thanks for stopping by. How fun we both have daughters In NCY, I love to visit there too. The "Broome" in our blog name was the street name in the lower east side where my daughter had her first apartment. Looking forward to getting to know you this year, Laura

What a lovely virtual visit to Anthropologie! I've never been to an actual store, although my daughter visited one in Chicago over Christmas and brought back some lovelies. I so want to go. I think the nearest one from me is in Somerset Mall near Detroit. I hope that she and I can make a visit soon. I have heard sooooo much about it. Thanks for visiting my blog and Happy PS!!
Blessings,
Tricia
