Tinsel Trading Company and Halloween Freebies!

Hello Friends!

Well, my search for fall color was apparently a few days too late,
and I MISSED the New England peak foliage.  :(

I did console myself with a trip to Tinsel Trading Company, though.  :)
Let's do a little window shopping:

Oooh, let's go inside:

Inside this cabinet are very vintage trims:
And there really are boxes and boxes on the floor in the back of the store
of very vintage trims just waiting to be unpacked and displayed.
I am always mad at myself when I get home for not buying more when I had the chance!
Especially since our hotel was literally a half block away!

Here's a little giftie I made for my friend Rosa:

and some Halloween freebies:

Thanks so much for visiting, and have a great weekend!

You could make me a Halloween fan...almost.

As pretty as I think our fall foliage is around here, a trip to Tinsel Trading is more than enough consolation.
Thanks for the tour and the images! xoxo

You definitely found something much different than fall foliage. Lost of goodies to see.

Lorraine, what fabulous displays! I would LOVE that store. Vintage trims are so gorgeous. Thanks for your comment about my Sis--she had trouble with her drain too.--Seems it took forever to completely drain out. All good now.
Have a great Saturday.

Hello Lorraine, I am loving your Halloween inspired post! You have certainly inspired me! Especially with your lovely Halloween Angel box! It is fab!
I have always wanted to visit Tinsel Trading Co. but have not been in NY since I heard about it. It looks like a fascinating shop! I am drooling (yes, I know, not pretty!) over the vintage trims and ribbons!
Thank you so much for giving me the closest thing I can come to visiting the shop myself.
Hugs,
Terri

Hi Lorraine, Oh what a beautiful post, I would love to visit Tinsel Trading too! How fun. I am so sorry that you missed the colors, I always wish the color would last longer than it does. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Terri

Some scary props at the shop.
Some great freebies ... the tickets are colorful, the little girl pumpkin cute ... It was the rows of multi-colored stuff that caught my eye though. Love rows of threads and such.
Happy Pink Saturday.

I love Tinsel Trading Company! Enjoyed your pictures so much! When I am in NYC, my husband kindly goes with me to the shop and takes all the photos, while I rush around trying to see everything! I am always sorry I did not buy more too!

I was fortunate enough to visit Tinsel Trading Company in person when they were just putting out the Halloween goodies. Oh, how I LOVE that store! And my sweet husband wasn't in a hurry to leave, either. He really enjoyed looking around at all the wonderful, vintage goodies and even picked up a few things. It will be a destination place from now on when I'm in the City.
