It's April! Fairy Jar! Freebies!

 Hello Friends!

It's April!

Yes!
And my across-the-street neighbor's front yard looks like this:

Flowers everywhere!
Even window shopping at the mall:

Yes, I have been doing a little creating as well as window shopping.  :)

Spring is peak season for fairies, as they are out and about in the garden.
I have always wanted to capture one and keep her forever in a jar.
But that wouldn't be nice.
So I made this little fairy in a jar to keep me company:

I used a mix of mosses, papery flowers, mushrooms, butterfly wings
and a Dresden pink crown.  And lots of fairy dust!
I covered the jar lid with some burlap trim to keep the woodsy look.
Added more moss and a nest and little birdie on top.

Here are a few freebies with an April Showers theme:

Oh, Lorraine, your fairy jar is SO lovely! I think I need to make a fairy to go on my new nest! Hmmm. perhaps one of these lovelies would make a fine fairy! Thanks for the share and for giving us such wonderful eye candy. My day is cold, gloomy and pouring rain, so it is an extra delight!

Good morning Lorraine, I am late visiting my Pink Saturday visitors. Only 4 more days before our anniversary celebration and I am so busy. Congratulations on your 35th April 22nd. I can tell you those 50 years flew by. Smile.

Your neighbor's yard is stunning. I too love all the lovely flowers in the Spring. I adore your fairy in a bottle. Kudos to you on this sweet creation.

Happy days to you and yours.
xo, Jeanne

The neighbour’s flowers really look great, nice shot. I love the fairy in the jar idea, nice use of trim and moss to make the jar garden ready. I may be the only one who relates fairy jars to Zelda on Nintendo, but I did grow up in the 1980s.
