Hello Friends!
Hoping you all had a lovely Thanksgiving with your families!
Are you feeling the crunch from having one less week between
Thanksgiving and Christmas this year?
I sure am, and I tried to get an early start by
crafting, crafting, crafting!
For our November Paper Soiree meeting
we were to alter TAZO tea tins.
I really had fun with this:
I sprinkled the tree with mica flakes and topped with a little red birdie.
The Believe is a glittered wooden embellishment.
I covered the tin with music paper
and cut out images from my favorite Christmas paper from last year,
"All is Bright",
which you can now find in a big pad at Michaels.
I attached a large glittered snowflake in the front and back,
and glued the images on the snowflake.
The back is embellished as well, I just forgot to take a pic of it.
And of course I added lace, tinsel, pearls and glitter!
The tin is a perfect size in which to store these beautiful
tags, which Marti showed us how to make
in her make-n-take:
A closer view:
The ornaments are a Tim Holtz die which I already had,
so I came home and made bunches of them!
I also made up a bunch of matchbox ornaments
like this one:
I do have more to show you, I just want to wait a bit
until the recipients receive their gifties.
Here's some freebies for your Christmas crafting:

Lorainne, these are incredibly beautiful! What a grand swap group you have! I couldn't tell you for a second which I like best! But you remind me -- I have a ton of tea tins and I just use them for storage. Maybe it's time to foof them up with some pretties!
Speaking of which, thanks for the graphics! They are terrific!
Very pretty, Lorraine! I love your ornaments!
Just love your creations, they're wonderful! I'm thinking of crafting with a tea tin after seeing yours.
Such beautiful, intricate work on the tin....it is so precious! I just love the Victorian style...I visited your shop and love the variety of papers. Visiting you from Pink Saturday.
So cute! I'd love to cover my tree with these. You are so clever!
