Treasures of the Sea Matchbox Swap

I recently participated in Vintage Dragonfly's
Treasures of the Sea Matchbox Swap,
and what a fun swap it was!
I loved the theme, and knew just what I wanted to do.

I made this little matchbox for Jennifer:

and stuffed it with shells and pearls,
a tiny bottle of aqua glass glitter
(with a teeny tiny starfish, seashell and pearl inside),
glass seahorse and silver mermaid charm:

and in return, I received this beautiful matchbox from Michele:

stuffed with shells, pearls, carved fish,
starfish button and coral pendant:

Thanks so much, Michele!
I am a big fan of matchbox swaps, as you may have guessed ; )
Can't wait til the next one!

So fabulous.
Last year I participated in a matchbox swap (personal swap) and created it based on vintage bathing belles. Such fun items to alter.

Love both yours and Michele's! You won't have to wait too long Lorraine. I'll be announcing a new swap soon.
